Happy days. Sweat It Out have some new home-grown and freshly squeezed talent joining the ranks. What So Not (Emoh Instead and Flume) have an impressively diverse and well-rounded EP dropping soon. They seem to achieve in 4 tracks what many albums fail to achieve in 12. Weird, I know. But credit where credit is due.

The title tune ’7 Dollar Bill’ is a macho number, repping call-and-response percussion, switching between various industrial tones, drums and stunted sirens. Bad ass.

‘Love Theme’ immediately checks the mood into to a deep, techy vibe with a tropical flavour. Fantastic bass on this track, versus the shimmering hi’s – a really polished track with a great deal of character. This one is my fav.

‘Get Busy Y’all’ bumps things into Moomba-mode. Enough said really. Heaps of swag and a catchy sample.

‘Imperial’ feat Astrix Little. If they made a futuristic-space version of Titanic, this might be the theme song. Quirky, cosmic drum-step skipping beneath Little’s soaring washed-out vocal. Dreamy.

This shit is tight – kudos – keep an eye out for it over at Sweat It Out. I dare say ’7 Dollar Bill’ is going to get some floors moving.
